Biography

Crying aloud on 29thSept 1981, TimBee Lo was not naturally born to be an enthusiast for design. A dislike of textile manufacturing even prevailed in his childhood, let alone considering the profession as the ambition.

Gone are the days when he first entered the field of design in 1998, aiming to become a cartoonist and manipulate various techniques to enhance the ability of his own in the beginning. Not only have the skills learned in Caritas Bianchi College of Careers stuffed him with a sense of aesthetics, they also enable TimBee to express the ideas in mind with concrete drawings.

Bathing in the sea of fashion design over years, he has been always specializing in menswear, something strongly believed by him as the mere and future foundation of fame due to unlimited producers for lady's wear on the market.

However, at 17 years of age mental struggles were once posed when menswear had been overlooked in Hong Kong society. TimBee was thrown into work for a year before moving on to the final 2 years of Higher National Diploma in Commercial Design(Fashion), under the accreditation from BTEC (Business & Technical Education Council) in the United Kingdom.

He no sooner walked into Sun Lai Hong Co. Ltd.(S.L.H.) than graduation. His brand-new label dubbed "CROXX", the first task assigned after he took up the position of Creative Director for the brand, had captured much social attention on May 2003. He ended up leaving S.L.H. and work as Ice House Fur Ltd until April 2004 and be a fashion designer for SPY HENRY LAU until July 2005.

After that he started a new page of life in his own company of TIMBEE LO FASHION DESIGN COMPANY for a creative design director and first launched his own brand "TIMBEE LO" consign at CLUB X at Fall Winter 2005-06 .

During Oct 2006 he opened his own shop named "TIMBEE LO shop" locate at Causeway Bay and closed at Oct 2008. After that he worked as a tutor for fashion design at Hong Kong Communication Design Center until August 2009. At the same time, he launched his own shop at Causeway Bay again at July 2009 until now.

His six students, Ferrando Chan, Mico Ai, Ivon Yip, Wing Law, Losting Law & Kyle Lam are highly expected to become somebody one day.
